桜楓に短冊図屏風さくらかえでにたんざくずびょうぶ

土佐派とさは

Color painting formed from a pair of screens arranged horizontally side-by-side, each with six, narrow vertical panels, of two trees, one with white blossoming flowers on the right and one with red autumn leaves on on the left, against a hazy golden background. Long strips of differently colored papers hang from the branches, inscribed with vertically oriented cursive Japanese script.
