Kuroda Tōkō 黒田稲皐
Painting formed from six narrow vertical panels showing fish of various sizes seen from above as if swimming in water, mostly in shades of black ink, with a dark green color used to depict leaves of water plants in the lower right. The fish are concentrated in a horizontal band in the center of the painting.
